Through past experience I have found that clients respond best to visual information, especially in today's world of information overload. What is more, we are using a disturbingly large amount of printing and paper resources to present lengthy documents and their conclusions. Decision makers are inundated with an overwhelming amount of reading to do and all too often, important points are overlooked or missed as documents that have been painstakingly composed gather dust.
An effective way of solving this issue I have found, is through the use of infographics. Infographics are extremely effective in synthesizing and summarizing complex information in order to portray it in an eye catching, shareable and easily digestible manner. They are especially relevant to portray urgent information to stakeholders, as they are quick to read and self-explanatory.

Flyer and poster design representing the key findings of the report for the City of Johannesburg Bioregional Assessment 2016 (with GIBB Engineering & Architecture).

Project leader of a confidential investigation in determining the status quo of illegal mining within three of Anglo Platinum's mines. Tasks included the compilation of online surveys, desktop research, interviews, site visits and finally the design of the resultant infographics to portray each case in a nutshell to decision makers. In collaboration with my network of professionals; a movie clip as well as story maps were compiled for further easy-to-read data compilation.
